Today: The "Adult" Version

Can the kids maybe not be punished for being stupid? It's hard as hell when you don't trust the adults here and they've been punished enough just by ending up in that god forsaken place.

That said, that might be something that needs to be worked on because when I'm the adult a kid trusts enough to turn to, something's wrong. I still need to be bailed out of trouble myself ninety percent of the time, I shouldn't be the one people trust to go on a rescue mission.

I have a question? Was grounding the kids for trying to rescue their friends like, on the table? I mean. Is that a thing someone suggested??! Cause, what the fuck.

Okay, cause I was gonna be like, wtf more if someone had seriously suggested that, I mean - I mean like, mostly it seems like it's only a couple of the kids who hate a couple of us but - like - lets not make it worse?

Wait.

The kids don't trust the adults here? Like, when did this happen.

Prooooobably around the point when we first realised that the adults here wouldn't and couldn't protect us all from armed thugs invading the mansion. So, 2003? Thereabouts. On the other hand, I had an interesting past before I showed up, so maybe I'm just biased because of the years living in the sewers.

These kids? A lot of the adults here either go out of their way to avoid them or aren't that great to them and plain haven't given a reason to be trusted.

The other half of the kids are just untrustworthy little jerks so it's mutual.

My validation is meaningless to you, I know, but:

You did good.
